Bob Knighton spent most of his career with the State Department of Transportation. As director of the Strategic Planning Bureau he oversaw the Department‘s strategic and operational planning efforts. During his career he also worked for the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations supporting agency executive management teams to implement the State‘s total quality management effort. Since retirement, Bob served as president of the New Baltimore Conservancy and is now chairman of the property committee. He was a lead volunteer in developing a new comprehensive plan for the Town of New Baltimore. Bob and his wife Lynda enjoy travel and lived for most of two years on their boat, traveling as far as the Bahamas.
